LES MONSTRES
LES MONSTRES is a conceptual fashion brand based in Bogotá, Colombia.
The brand is born from a core premise: humans are the most chaotic life form on the planet and, simultaneously, the only one entirely conscious of its own existence.
Les Monstres views the human being as an evolutionary anomaly—a species capable of developing technology, altering ecosystems, building civilizations, and questioning its own origin all at once.
Driven by this vision, the brand develops collections inspired by biology, evolution, paleontology, science, and speculative futures. Each project operates as a visual exploration of the history of life and its relationship with contemporary identity.
Garments are conceived as narrative surfaces. Graphics, typography, symbols, and materials are utilized to imprint fragments of biological memory onto the human body.
The visual language of Les Monstres fuses biomorphic structures, techno-organic aesthetics, industrial minimalism, and conceptual composition to construct pieces that exist between fashion, artifact, and cultural statement.
The brand does not follow seasonal trends. It develops conceptual universes.
Based in Bogotá. Built for the future.
Founder
Les Monstres was founded by Sebástian Maitán, a Colombian creative director, model, artist, and performer.
His work explores the intersection of biology, identity, and contemporary aesthetics, utilizing fashion as a medium to transform scientific knowledge and human reflection into a visual experience.
Through Les Monstres, he develops conceptual universes inspired by evolution, organic memory, and speculative futures, merging graphic language, narrative, and art direction within a singular cultural framework.
The brand’s vision is to establish itself as a cultural entity where art, fashion, and knowledge converge with purpose.

“Life is not just what happens; it is how improbable it is that it is happening at all.”
— Sebástian Maitán (2026)
